May 21st, I showed my work in Traver Gallery as the culmination of a training by Artist Trust called "I Am An Artist"

June 5th was the opening to my Featured Artist exhibit in Seattle at Art/Not Terminal Gallery at 2045 Westlake Ave. http://www.antgallery.org/

Artist Statement

I came into photography very late in life and have found many pockets of inspiration as I have learned my camera and gotten out exploring. To me the essential qualities in my work that I find inspiring are light, nature, architecture, line, pattern, texture and reflections. In my photography, and especially in my art, I like to trick the eye or give a twist to the normal view of the world. I use photography both as a representation of the “real” world and as a means to draw the viewer deeper into the work.

The photos on this site epitomize for me the joy of discovery behind the lens. Hope you enjoy the journey through my photographer’s eye.
