"A Night at the Carnival" - Traveling Exhibit with 3D artist Mark Lubich

Mark and I have been working on this themed show for over 2 years now. We have traveled to carnivals, strategized, planned and produced artwork for this show and we open July 4th at Northwind for a month of fun at the carnival.

Artist Statement

I came into photography very late in life and have found many pockets of inspiration as I have learned my camera and gotten out exploring. To me the essential qualities in my work that I find inspiring are light, nature, architecture, line, pattern, texture and reflections. In my photography, and especially in my art, I like to trick the eye or give a twist to the normal view of the world. I use photography both as a representation of the “real” world and as a means to draw the viewer deeper into the work.

The photos on this site epitomize for me the joy of discovery behind the lens. Hope you enjoy the journey through my photographer’s eye.
