"NEXT" Fine Arts Show at the 2010 Anacortes Arts Festival

Yesterday was the artist reception for "NEXT" the 2010 Fine Arts show at the Anacortes Arts Festival.  This show is considered one of the finest in the area with top notch artists juried in each year. Competition judge Esther Luttikhuizen - public art curator and gallery manager with 4Culture (King County) - told me she loved my pieces with Yellow Pulse as her favorite.  The reception was well attended and brimming with wonderful art, good food, music and comraderie.

Show and festival schedule -
"NEXT" runs through August 8th and is located in the Shed - a large building at the far end of Commercial Avenue.  Last building on the left before hitting the water.
The Anacortes Arts Festival runs August 6-8 and features 250 booth artists, music, food and youth activites

"SHINE"
A new exhibit I curated for the Seattle Design Center features the art of 17 Artist Trust EDGE graduates.  This is a continuing show in the RISE Gallery (showroom Suite 258) through the end of September.  SDC is a 40,000 square ft design mecca and well worth taking a trip to explore design showrooms and artist gallery space.
SHINE Exhibit - July 5 - September 30
