International and Washington State Photography Competitions Washington Salon

72nd Northwest International Exhibition of Photography and Washington State Photography Competitions
These shows ran concurrently at the Washington Salon, Puyallup, WA.  Western Washington Fair hosted these exhibits.  The Fair had well over 1 million visitors in 2012.  I won an Honorable Mention in the International Competition and 2 Honorable Mentions in the Washington State competition.  Of the 8 images I entered, 7 were juried into these competitive shows.  I was very pleasantly shocked at my showing with an over all field of more than 300 photographers and more than 1,000 images, it was amazing that my photos were chosen and won several awards.

As a curator of "A Celebration of Washington Artists" at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, I was very pleased with the hanging of the show and the enthusiastic response we have had.  Celebration is a collective showing of artists graduating from Artist Trust's EDGE Professional Development program.  Spanning 9 years, we had
