ARTIST TRUST AT LARGE

On July 7th I will be giving my first Artist Trust presentation to a group of Olympia artists as part of the newly formed program titled "Artist Trust At Large". Here is a flyer of this presentation. If you are in that area and wish to learn more about Artist Trust - please feel free to join the group - this is a free event

"CELEBRATION"
WASHINGTON STATE CONVENTION CENTER
AN ARTIST TRUST EXHIBIT
SHOWCASES 9 YEARS OF ARTIST TRUST EDGE GRADUATES
I was invited to help curate this upcoming Artist Trust exhibit.  Woo Hoo!!!
The Washington State Convention Center in Seattle invited Artist Trust to hang a show in their public gallery space from July 21st through October 21st 2012.  Artist Trust decided to showcase their EDGE program graduates. I am a 2008 EDGE grad myself.
Actually, in 9 years of EDGE there have been over 450 graduates from this wonderful program - but 450 artists to curate is a lot of work!!!!  There are several of us working on this divided up by year.  I am curating years 2006-2008.  Curators and the AT staff person overseeing us are:
MalPina Chan in Olympia,
Dayton Knipher in Tacoma,
Cathy Sarkowsky in Seattle
Natasha Marin also in Seattle,
Exhibit Intern, Lisa Pollman and
Nichole DeMent - Artist Trust Program Manager
This has been so much fun and I love seeing all the art coming through cyberspace.

More on this event as the jury process begins and final art is chosen.
